Goa Water Stories
Goa Water Stories (GWS) was launched on March 5, 2025, to celebrate and document the rich tapestry of local lived experiences, rituals, and indigenous knowledge systems. This initiative employed various media and sensory approaches to highlight community wisdom through inclusive collaboration and storytelling. Featuring contributions from over 18 co-creators, GWS highlights the significance of rivers and water bodies, and their ties to the Khazans, while exploring the intricate relationship between land and water. The project successfully engaged local communities, emerging researchers, artists, and the media, partnering with institutions such as the Centre for Public Policy and Governance at the Goa Institute of Management, Goa University, and Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts.
